Look out to about the 2 o'clock position and you see three areas where reeds grow out of the water. The other spots give up good trophies but never a uni so far. Best times are early and late in the day.īest spots for drum are from the right side of the dock. That is where all my unis have come from. Snook will bite anywhere from about 43m on in.
The uni spot for snook is different- looking straight out from the middle of the dock there's a snag with some weeds about 40m out, just a bit left of straight out. On the right side of the dock- same thing- cast out to the snags. Retrieve single spoons, casting spoon, 1, 2 or 2.5m cranks, 4/0 jig, medium spoon, topwater. There are a couple snags out there about 30m or so- cast a little past them, to roughly 35m.
On the far left cast straight left out (from the direction you face when you spawn). For snook go to Salty Delta and walk to the far left or far right sides of the dock.
